A father and son, who work as security guards for an armored truck company, encounter a group of would-be robbers on a bridge. They are trapped and must devise a plan to escape and survive. Sly has only played an antagonist once, in Robert Rodriguez’s 2003 film Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over. He also appeared in Death Race 2000 opposite David Carradine in 1975. Armored cash-in-transit vehicles rely heavily on GPS tracking systems to increase safety. If something goes wrong—whether it’s an accident, an attack, or an unexpected stop—GPS data helps emergency services understand the situation and quickly reach the vehicle. If they end up there, it won’t be because of their performance in the movie. Patric and his son are driving an armored van. Sly’s crew attacks them. The majority of the movie takes place on a bridge, with Patric and his son trying to survive, and Sly and his crew trying to get into said van. I gave it a five, I could have given it a six if I was being generous. It’s not a great movie, but I was entertained for an hour and a half. I never thought about turning it off after ten minutes, which is rare these days. If you have nothing else to watch, give it a try. If your expectations are low, you won’t be disappointed if you hate it!
